In December 2023, I received a phone call from the president of the Wyoming Artists’ Association. A shakeup of leadership had happened, and the new leaders were looking for some assistance going forth. Such a move had been discussed and at the time, I was not able to help with much of anything. However, my situation had now changed and I agreed to assume the role of secretary to learn the ropes and prepare me for the position of president in two years.
There is a lot of work to do in preparation for the convention and getting the association going again from the COVID interruption. You will probably be seeing me or hearing from me speaking in support of joining this historic organization. The conventions are great fun; the artists are amazing; and I always learn a lot.
